Rare early work by collage master Cecil Touchon from his Fusion Series. This one is Fusion Series #23. Signed and dated '84. Beautifully framed in birch with a linen mat. Unsure if it is acid free or not. Image is 4"x4". Frame is 18 3/4" x 13 3/4". In excellent condition except for a couple of creases in the linen mat.
Touchon is widely recognized as a master of the art of collage. Touchon's work is found in prestigious museum and corporate collections around the world. Touchon is also the founding director of the International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction a wing of the Ontological Museum - his over-arching 'Total Art' project.
