This is a beautiful quality giclee print on an 8x10" single mat from an original hand colored black and white photo by longtime professional photographer Bill Romerhaus with caption, history, and photography information on a label on the back (from an original black and white photo that was hand colored by

aleiwa artist Malia Mcnamara
and copied to a Velvia transparency and scanned) on Epson premium photo paper and mounted on a

8x10 inch backing board and shrink wrapped
**which is included as part of the print as you can see here and includes white border and is not a mat board cutout (see photo)

It is an older building in Haleiwa and was a typical mom and pop store in this location for about 20-30+ years, went thru various business changes in the past
four
decades, and
since has been demolished
. It is shrink wrapped (
**you can see it in the lower corner of the photo
) to protect it from damage and has photography, history of Haleiwa, and preservation tips included in the label on the back. It was featured in our twice award winning photo history book: "Haleiwa: A Pictorial History," available at our e-Bay store, and also in Aloha Magazine award winning article.
We're proud to mention that many of our photos were used as background artwork in the CBS television network series "Hawaii 5-0".
It would make a great gift for someone who likes this area or historic images of Hawaii. They are popular reasonably priced decorations for restaurants, offices, homes, or stores where people can see them.

An 11x14 inch frame (or larger) with a custom cut mat from a frame shop or art store is the suggested way to display this photo.
Prints are permanently mounted to the acid free backing board using an archival photo adhesive and cannot be easily removed from the backing board without damaging the photo. If you want to use a larger frame and can't figure out how to do it with the photo mounted on the backing board, contact us and we can explain how it can be done. This is recommended for best visual and artistic impact in displaying this photo, although many people are happy using a standard 8x10 inch frame and displaying the image as is.
